DeTeImmobilien becomes part of the STRABAG Group

STRABAG pursues strategy of expanding its competencies in construction-related services
Frankfurt, 23 July 2008. The German Telekom and the Austrian company Strabag SE signed an agreement on the sale of DeTeImmobilien, German Telekom Immobilien und Service GmbH (DeTeImmobilien), a 100% subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom, based in Frankfurt was completed. Accordingly DeTeImmobilien will be sold at 1.10.2008 by the German Telekom and taken over by the STRABAG Group. DeTeImmobilien employs some 6,240 employees - about 5,600 in Germany - comprehensive services in the field of real estate and facility management. The volume of sales in the fiscal year 2007 was approximately € 1 billion €. The largest customer is the German Telekom AG. Parallel to the sale of DeTeImmobilien was concluded, based on market and industry benchmarks, a comprehensive service contract with a term of ten years initially. This ensures that future the necessary facility management services for the German Telekom are provided by DeTeImmobilien. For employees far-reaching agreements to secure employment have been made.
