It is interesting that economists and politicians make the same mistake again and again, the magic word is now SiFi - or systemically important financial institution - which you can probably translate to systemically relevant financial institution.

It's amazing, scientists and politicians to hold on in spite of better knowledge on a concept that has proven to be wrong. As I at one of my last 5stars lectures and had stated in detail in my book, is the faith that was invented in systemic importance of the rating agencies. These are assumed to economic theory that financial institutions give when either are so large and significant that they can not go under. This belief is held as "too big to fail" concept in the thinking of scientists and politicians feed. Unfortunately it is not only wrong but also dangerous and should be relegated to the realm of superstition.

excuse that I've posted anything for so long, I'm currently bad in the learning stress, but on Friday it is finally done and I have the last exam of my life as a student from behind me and only my master's thesis to me. impressions from my visit to China in 2010

I was professionally involved in Shanghai and took the opportunity with local people on China's economy in general and monetary policy to speak in particular.

Shanghai as a city is really impressive. The people, the infrastructure and of course the rapid Development. You can tell just the energy and growth at every step. Shanghai wins but increasingly as a financial center in importance, especially since the Chinese government wants to relax some restrictive conditions on the stock exchange. Although trading in shares (A shares) is currently limited to both Hungarians and the use of resources to China, but there are first serious indication that this should change soon. This would slowly catch up to his sister Shanghai Hong Kong and more interesting as a market place for international firms.

Of course I was interested in China as well as dealing with the credit crisis and was able to very informative discussions mit Unternehmer vor Ort führen. Damit kann die chinesische Regierung sehr effektiv die Geldmenge steuern.
